The Little Fishermen’s Ministry
Last updated: February 2026

The Little Fishermen’s Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and religious purposes. The ministry is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

All proceeds from events, book sales, and donations are used to further the mission of the ministry. No part of the net earnings benefits any private individual.

Child Participation & Parental Responsibility

The Little Fishermen’s Ministry serves children and families through outdoor activities, educational programs, and faith-based events. By registering a child or allowing a child to participate, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  • You are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or have legal authority to grant permission

  • You understand that outdoor activities (including fishing, walking near water, and group activities) involve inherent risks

  • You assume full responsibility for the child’s participation

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows safety instructions and behaves respectfully during ministry activities.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver (Child-Specific)

By registering for or participating in any event hosted by The Little Fishermen’s Ministry, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to minor injuries, weather conditions, or environmental hazards.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless The Little Fishermen’s Ministry, its directors, volunteers, event partners, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Supervision & Safety

Unless otherwise stated, parents or legal guardians remain responsible for the supervision of their children at all times during events.

The ministry and its volunteers strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment; however, supervision does not replace parental responsibility.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, the parent or guardian authorizes The Little Fishermen’s Ministry to seek appropriate medical care if they cannot be reached immediately. Any medical expenses incurred are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Photography & Media Release

By participating in ministry events, you grant permission for photographs or videos of you or your child to be used for ministry purposes, including promotional materials, social media, and the website, unless you notify us in writing prior to the event.

Donations, Event Fees & Refunds

  • Donations to The Little Fishermen’s Ministry are voluntary and non-refundable

  • Event registration fees help cover event costs and support ministry programming

  • Refunds may be issued at the ministry’s discretion if an event is canceled or rescheduled

Faith-Based Nature of the Ministry

The Little Fishermen’s Ministry is grounded in Christian values and biblical teachings. Participation implies respect for the faith-based mission and environment of the organization.
